Voila, here's your perfect Shibari* rope made from luxurious Asanawa jute! Ready to use immediately. This jute rope is Japanese-made and completely skin-friendly. The dedicated manufacturer uses expensive, non-rancidizing, cold-pressed soybean oil to batch the jute. This oil is also enriched with 100% vitamin A and D. The use of vegetable oils makes the jute skin-friendly; it doesn't smell and is also safe for the workers in the jute factory and the surrounding environment.
Jute rope is easier to work with; it's light and has very little elasticity, which makes hanging with the rope safer.

Drying & treatment:
Allow the rope to air dry with enough tension to rebalance the jute:
At Ø 6mm that is 980 grams per meter of rope.
After drying, the rope can be re-treated with Rope Butter .

You can also buy leftover rope; sizes: less than 8m and more than 2m.
Important: Sometimes the rough texture of new jute can irritate your skin and cause itching. It's very annoying, but you can alleviate this by rubbing the rope with rope butter. If you have a dryer, you can also soften the rope by drying it.
*The Japanese noun Shibari (縛り) can mean binding , regulating, restrictive and/or (contractually ) meaning binding point. An alternative word used is the noun; Suru verb Kinbaku (緊縛), which means to bind firmly; tight binding , and/or (sexual) bondage .
