Bert Sliggers | Fold, clap, pull, twist

Pornographic printed matter for the illiterate... They are usually small-format prints or homemade papers and booklets that only reveal their secrets when opened, unfolded, or turned over.
Dirty songs, poems, and bawdy jokes also circulated, but usually there was nothing to read. It was all about seeing: mischievous French photos, Czech stereo photos with a cardboard viewer, images that moved when you pulled a tab.
Bert Sliggers owns a fine collection of this largely lost porn for the illiterate. He discusses and displays highlights of European erotica. Small enough for a pocket and unique enough for under the counter.
